Recent History of the Company

Gendis Inc. has changed significantly in recent years.  In 1995 the company sold its 51% stake in Sony of Canada to the Sony Corporation of Tokyo, Japan.  In 1997, following the sale of Chauvco Resources (of which Gendis was the largest shareholder), Gendis became a major financial backer of Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P.  After two distributions of units to Gendis shareholders in 2001, Gendis still retains ownership of over 1.9 million units in Fort Chicago.  Gendis' 50% stake in Tundra Oil and Gas Ltd. was sold in 2000.  SAAN Stores Ltd. was sold to a Toronto-based investment group in 2004.

2010 and Beyond

Gendis Inc. is poised for future growth as it turns its attention to opportunities in real estate and the energy sector.
